Candied strawberries - an exquisite gourmet treat

There is another way that can delight lovers of this berry - the preparation of candied fruit. Gentle, fragrant and slightly volatile, they are great.

For processing 1 kg of strawberries will need 800 g of sugar and 1 liter of water.
First, prepare the syrup. We are waiting for the sugar to completely dissolve, bring the syrup to a boil and send it in strawberry-peeled tails for 10 minutes. Throwing the berries into a colander, let the syrup drain. Now it remains only to straighten the berries laid out on the pan in the oven, preheated to no more than 45 degrees for drying. The beauty of candied strawberries is that they do not lose elasticity, but only become drier and denser.Once the delicacy is ready, you need to decompose the berries in pre-sterilized jars and roll up.
