Chic dishes from affordable chicken hearts

Chicken hearts - an affordable product. And although they belong to the category of by-products, that is, in fact, offal, yet of them you can cook a lot of interesting dishes.

So, how tasty to cook chicken hearts? Below are several options.

Option One

Cook a delicious soup. To do this you will need:

  • 600-700 grams of chicken hearts;
  • 3-4 potatoes;
  • one carrot;
  • one head of onions;
  • 50 grams of long vermicelli or spaghetti;
  • three cloves of garlic;
  • three or four bunches of parsley and dill;
  • several green onions;
  • pepper and salt to taste;
  • three to five tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Description of the cooking process:

  1. First you need to properly prepare the chicken hearts, otherwise they will be very hard and wiry, because they consist of muscle tissue. First, rinse them well, and second, remove all films and conductors completely.
  2. Now fill the pot with water and put hearts into it.If they are large, then it is advisable to cut them into several rings. Small hearts can be left whole.
  3. How many hearts to cook? It all depends on their size. The smaller they are, the faster they will weld. But in order to achieve softness and tenderness, it is desirable to increase the cooking time to at least half an hour, but the fire should be medium or small. In the process of cooking be sure to remove the resulting foam, it can spoil the taste of the dish.
  4. While the hearts are boiling, take care of the rest of the ingredients. Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into strips. Peel and chop the onion and finely chop the onion. Carrots should be rubbed on grater. Garlic chop on garlic crush.
  5. Half an hour after boiling water, put the potatoes in a saucepan.

  • two teaspoons of Korean seasoning (you can use the mixture for carrots);
  • three tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • salt and red pepper to taste.

Cooking:

  1. Chicken hearts should be well washed in running cool water and cleaned of lived and films.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, put the heart out in it for about 10-15 minutes.

Hearts stewed in sour cream are very tender, tasty and appetizing. Here is what is required for their preparation:

  • 500 grams of chicken hearts;
  • half a glass of water;
  • 100 ml of sour cream (20-30% fat content);
  • five bunches of fennel greens;
  • three or four tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • salt to taste

How to cook?

  1. Wash and clean the hearts first.
  2. Then heat the oil in a pan. Fry the hearts on it to a ruddy color (about seven minutes).
  3. Add water, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the hearts for half an hour.
  4. Now you can add sour cream and dill, well washed with finely chopped knives.
  5. Simmer everything together without a lid, stirring constantly, about 10 minutes.
  6. In the end, add salt and seasoning if desired.
  7. Done!

Fourth option

You can make a hearty salad of hearts with mushrooms. Here is what you need to make it:

  • 300 grams of chicken hearts;
  • 300 grams of fresh champignons;
  • one can of canned peas;
  • one onion;
  • several green onions;
  • salt to taste;
  • three tablespoons of sunflower oil;
  • mayonnaise or sour cream for refueling.

Cooking:

  1. Chicken hearts should be thoroughly washed and cleaned, then boiled in lightly salted water. And if you want to make them more gentle, then the water in the process you need to drain the cooking two times. As a result, the heart should be soft, it can take about 40-50 minutes.
  2. Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Wash the mushrooms thoroughly and cut them.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the mushrooms and onions on it until ready.
  4. If hearts are big, cut them.
  5. Green onions chop, after washing.
  6. Put peas in a bowl or salad bowl, fried mushrooms with onions, green onions and hearts. Season everything with mayonnaise or sour cream and mix.

In a slow cooker, you can cook tasty and healthy chicken hearts with potatoes. For this you will need:

  • 800 grams of chicken hearts;
  • 1 kg of potatoes;
  • one carrot;
  • one onion;
  • water;
  • spices and salt to taste.

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. Wash hearts thoroughly and clean, cut them if necessary.
  2. Peel and chop the onion; wash the carrots and grate them.
  3. Turn on the mode of "frying" or "baking", pour oil into the bowl and fry the onions and carrots until golden.
  4. Put the hearts in the bowl and fry everything together for about twenty minutes.
  5. In the meantime, clean, wash and dice the potatoes.
  6. Twenty minutes after adding hearts, put potatoes in a slow cooker.

You can cook fried hearts with onions and walnuts. Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of chicken hearts;
  • two onions;
  • half a cup of walnuts;
  • three cloves of garlic;
  • three tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • salt to taste

Cooking:

  1. Onions need to be cleaned and cut into thin half rings or rings.
  2. Cut walnuts with a knife into small pieces.
  3. Wash and clean the hearts from the films and the veins.
  4. Heat the butter in a pan, put the onion in it, then the hearts, and then the nuts.
  5. Fry it all together for about fifteen minutes over medium heat.
