How to make sound insulation ceiling

You will need
  • - level;
  • - metal frame and drywall, building hardware to install a suspended ceiling;
  • - pencil and tape measure;
  • - scissors for metal;
  • - acrylic sealant;
  • - fiberglass and mineral fiber.
Instruction
Cover all joints with acrylic sealant on the ceiling.ceiling�and walls, corners, cracks and crevices that increase sound permeabilityceiling.
Draw a pencil line for the initial profile of the structure at a distance of 15-20 cm fromceiling. Use for this level. Secure the initial profile around the room with dowels in 40-60 cm increments.

Fill all cavities between the frame guides with mineral wool or fiberglass. Fix the drywall on the metal frame with metal screws with a step of 20 cm. Leave a gap of 2-3 mm between the sheets of drywall. Seal the joints between the sheets of drywall. Prepare the ceiling for painting.
