Simple and tasty cooking meatloaf
When ordinary burgers or meatballs get bored, and eating in restaurants or various delicacies is not a special opportunity, and there is no need, you can try making tasty and juicy meat rolls.
With their very subtle and unusual taste, they will be able to conquer even the very harmful connoisseurs of the beautiful, and the solemn and exquisite appearance of meat rolls will easily make them welcome guests at any daily or even festive table.
The word roll comes from the French "Rouler", which means "roll up", and it is not at all surprising if we turn to the technique of the execution of these wonderful dishes.
It is believed that the rolls belong to the traditional European cuisine, which have a mandatory composition: medium-sized meat slices, in which the filling is wrapped.
It can be any, for example, vegetables, mushrooms, cheese or eggs, in addition to this, sometimes they use as a filling another kind of meat, for example, crab or ham.
There are various types of meat rolls, some of them are prepared from whole pieces of meat, there are options where they are beaten with a hammer or chopped into pieces, just like in the case of cooking regular meatballs.
The finished dish is served on the table cut across, if the rolls are large, they are poured with their own juice or sauce prepared in advance.
In order for the dish to turn out really tasty, it is necessary to use only fresh products for its preparation, special attention should be paid to meat, because, to a greater extent, the final taste of rolls will depend on it.
It is best to use chilled, rather than frozen meat, pay special attention to its color - it should have a light shade, dark meats are usually old and make them soft and juicy roll is unlikely to work.
For the preparation of meat rolls, preference is given to such meats: chicken, veal, turkey, pork, or a combination of these. How to cook meat roll chicken?
We will use chicken fillet as the main “wrapper”, and to make the dish with its own twist, and also not dryish, as is the case when using chicken, we will add the second type of meat — bacon; vegetables and greens will be used as a filling. To prepare such a yummy, we need:
- chicken fillet - 700 g;
- bacon - 200 g;
- curd cheese - 150 g;
- sweet pepper - 2 pcs .;
- parsley, dill - a small bunch;
- vegetable oil;
- black pepper, salt.
Thoroughly wash the chicken fillet, clean the film and cut it with a sharp knife into small layers, the thickness of each should not exceed 2 centimeters. The resulting pieces slightly beat, then pepper and salt them to taste.
Then each prepared slice is greased with a thin layer of curd cheese, it is better suited with a creamy taste. Pre-wash, peel and cut into small cubes Bulgarian pepper, chop parsley and dill, mix, and sprinkle each layer of chicken with the prepared filling.
Now we twist our rolls, so that they do not spread out, we can tie each thread, but, in fact, they must preserve their form in this way. The final touch - each roll wrapped with a sheet of bacon.
Now prepare the oven: preheat it to a temperature of 180 °, go to the baking dish - lubricate it with vegetable oil and put the rolls into it. Better fit such a form in which our rolls will lie tightly to each other. How much do you think meat rolls are made?

This version of meatloaf is very common and favorite among many housewives, because making it is not difficult, and the boiled egg is incredibly tasty combined with minced meat. Try it! For cooking you will need:
- mixture of beef and pork forcemeat - 500 g;
- chicken eggs - 5 pieces (you can use quail eggs, then they will need 7-8 pieces);
- milk - 4 tbsp. spoons;
- onion - 1 pc .;
- bunch of parsley;
- pepper, salt.
For a start, cook 4 hard boiled eggs, they will go to the filling. While the eggs are boiling, let's make minced meat, for this we clean the onion and cut it into small pieces, chop the greens. Now whip the milk with the egg and send this mixture into the stuffing, add the chopped onion and greens to the same place. Some housewives prefer to add bread crumbs to the mince, but this is a matter of taste, we do without them.
If the minced meat turned out to be too liquid, then the bread will still have to be added, so you balance its consistency. In order to make a roll of beautiful and regular shape, it is advisable to use special oblong shapes of small size for baking. But if you don’t have such people, it’s not a problem, the usual baking sheet on which the foil is lined will fit, and a roll of minced meat is formed on it.
So, lay out the bottom of the baking sheet with foil, grease it with oil and at the bottom lay out a part of the stuffing in a small layer (2-3 cm). Now on the prepared layer of minced meat lay out the peeled boiled eggs in one row, after which we close them with the rest of the mince so that the eggs are inside and a neat oblong roll forms outside.
Make sure that the seam of the joint layers is on top, this will not allow all the juice to flow out during baking.
Now close the prepared roll with foil, send it to the preheated oven at a temperature of 200 ° for 50 minutes. By the way, such a roll can be prepared without foil, for this it will need to be formed on the spread food film, roll the roll with it, and send it to the baking tray without the film. Baking time is 40-50 minutes, do not forget to pour water into the pan.
