Being a fashion girl isn’t simple. You have to follow the that are not always easy on the budget. Besides that, you have to be adventurous and bold enough to try those weird trends that appear from time to time. Additionally, you have to make a fashion identity for yourself and try only the trends that flatter your body shape and express your spirit. This is basically the practical part of the job. It may sound surprising to some people but being a fashionista takes some serious theoretical knowledge. There are multiple trends, techniques, and styles, and sometimes they have fancy names that might confuse many people.

You probably noticed that retailers started making this mom style of jeans and bloggers are going crazy over them. Well if you thought that they are the same thing as the boyfriend jeans you are wrong. Yes, mom jeans remind of boyfriend jeans but they have couple important differences: they sit higher on the waist and have more structure. You are probably going to see a lot of these this year and maybe treat yourself with a pair of mom jeans. There are simple mom jeans made of vintage denim as well as jeans with patchwork and distressed hems.

Her newest release features jelly slides that resemble the 90s’ classic sandals. They are basically the most comfortable shoes that you’d ever own. You could rock these with most of your daily outfits. They will bring a relaxed note to your style and make a huge fashion statement at the same time.

A duster is a long loose-fitting coat, preferably light colored. The duster will bring a bedtime vibe to your style. Speaking of fabrics, most duster coats are made of silk or satin. Lately some wool styles are called duster coats too. If you don’t already own a duster coat, consider getting one because it will change your fashion game. Duster coats are perfect for spring and summer night outs.

Mules are backless that are traditionally closed-toed but may also be open-toed. They can be in many different styles such as flat, block-heel, espadrille and even sneakers. Expect to see a lot of these in 2019 especially in the spring/summer season.

Only a couple years ago we considered these shoulder pads funny and unnecessary. Get ready to change your mind about power shoulders in 2019. Designers are showing collections with big voluminous sleeves that include structured shoulder pads.
